Founded in 1994,  Rick Blasé started American Snow & Ice Management (ASI). Rick recognized the need for a quality snow & ice management provider for the St. Louis area. ASI started with a single pickup truck and a walk behind salt spreader. Back then, Rick would plow the parking lot and complete the process by “manually” salting the entire property with a seed spreader. A lot has changed since then!
Our client retention rate is extremely high. Many of our customers have been with us for ten years or longer. In fact, we still service our first customer.

The St. Louis Chapter of IFMA’s mission is to provide a learning and networking environment among a diverse membership while helping supply its members with the tools to achieve their professional goals.

Building Owners Management Association

Founded in 1907, BOMA represents the owners and managers of all commercial property types with a mission of advancing a vibrant commercial real estate industry through advocacy, influence, and knowledge.​ The St. Louis chapter focuses on helping its members share resources, highlight new information, discuss new procedures and tap into the collective knowledge and experience of the area’s facility managers.

Advanced Snow Manager

The Advanced Snow Manager designation is reserved for professionals that have successfully completed courses in Core Principles, Sidewalk Operations, Plowing Operations, and Ice Management. This snow specific certificate training program run by the Snow & Ice Management Association is a key component in long term employee development.
